New Theme Day

My new Theme day is (and yes i know this sounds corny) but its Friends Friday. Awwwwwwwwwww.. isn't that sweet? Anywhoooo... every Friday i'll come up with some new way to let you know some more about my friends and recognize them. I'm going to do this on my Xanga site too, so my friends who don't read this blog can see their name up. So now, on to the show.
On this first Friends Friday I am going to start a new meme. I have never made one of these up before so bear with me if it stinks. You can do this with an e-mail address book or IM list. Go through and look at all the people you have in there. Now, think of some way that those people have helped you or something that's special about when you talk to them,an inside joke etc. This is for anyone who reads this, I expect to see this generated on blogs everywhere! (Unless of course it stinks, then just leave me a comment saying something along the lines of "Dude, what were you thinking?") So here's mine.....

Sis. Jewel- is always there and has kind of been an "adopted grandmother" to me since my grandma died.
Rachel C.- is my friend who I am always able to vent to and vice-versa
Rachel D.-provides mindless jibberish (hahaha) and laughs whenever I talk to her
Rachel F.- for back and forth jokes and repitition (*smurf song* peanut butter jelly) Yeah, most of you don't get that
Gabby- is hilarious and is my camp buddy
Zac- one of my oldest friends and always provides insults for me (all in good fun of course)
Aaron- always provides encouragement and a ton of laughs
Jess- is just about as boy-crazy as I am, well not so much anymore, now that she has a boyfriend, but I can usually talk to her about boys and stuff
Tiffany- always listens to me, no matter what (yip, yip, yip, yip. uh-huh, uh-huh) hahaha. you guys don't get that either
Erica- always gives encouragement and advice. a loooooooooong time friend
Kris- my friend from med camp who is fun to talk to because we have the same ambitions
Shayley- craziness, always craziness
Maggie- always listens and is there, no matter what. my best friend since 3rd grade
Deana- one of the nicest, sweetest people you will ever meet
Tia- my friend from camp, who never answers her phone, but is still a great person
Brittany- who is crazier? nobody. haha
Cassie- my #1 friend (well, for one thing she's the first on my camp list alphbetically) who i can talk to about anything and everything
Jessica- one of the nicest people ever, enjoys shiny things (inside joke)
Hayley- major loser (kidding, not really) hahaha
Lindsay- my friend whose church i go to more than my own
Laura- always provides schizophrenic humor

Killing Time

Well, I'm waiting for my conference, sitting on the computer in the library, killing time. It's pretty boring, but I can deal with it. My progress report apparently went home this afternoon, and my spanish grade, because of a missing test, has turned out fairly low. My good excuse for this was that my teacher has been out since last Friday because she is now a grandma. Hopefully this whole thing will get straightened out by Monday, which is when mom has set my deadline for execution...errrr... i mean.... grounding or some other form of non-violent punishment. haha. I think I'm going to once again try to make a theme day, starting today. I have been planning it out in my free time today, so I'm going to go work on that now.

Eighth Period

Well, I'm in eighth period but won't be leaving school anytime before 3:45 at the earliest. Goody. I have to have a conference with my English teacher to discuss revisions on my cursed research paper. That and the rush to get it into turnitin.com by midnight was my reason for spending an entire afternoon (ok, not entire) typing a paper. So after my conference I am free to go home. i was discussing with some people that within the next few months, the roads will be VERY unsafe. I have several friends getting their permits within the next 7 months. It's pretty funny. I'm getting mine in early April, hopefully, as you can see from the countdown at the top of my site. Chloride Sodium Glutamate (as Sis. Jewel calls him) gets his permit this afternoon probably. My friend Maggie, who is looking over my shoulder right now (MOVE IT WOMAN!!) gets hers next month. And other assorted friends in the rest of the year. (Maggie thought i was gonna say world) But anyway, the bell is about to ring. I will hopefully be allowed to surf the net in the next hour while I wait for my stupid conference. I'M PRAYING!! HAHA

The cons of IM

Well, about 10 minutes ago i finished a monster of a research paper rough draft. According to my classmates if u are really devoted it only takes about 2 hours to finish. But with my Yahoo! messenger just a mouse click away and BOYS online... i just couldn't resist taking FOUR HOURS to do my paper. hahaha. I talked to CSG for a whopping 45 minutes about (what else?) absolutely nothing.. (hey thats my title. go figure.) and assorted others for about 2 minutes here and there. FORTY FIVE MINUTES!!! HOW DO I HAVE THAT MUCH SEMI-FREE TIME? Well, I don't. But thats beside the point. Leave me alone. Critiquing icons on IM is so much fun. Except for when u bash my dearest Clay. NOBODY DOES THAT IN FRONT OF ME!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I went postal on him and zac. They've both known me since the pigtail days (yes as awful as the mental picture is, there were pigtails. don't judge me) so they know that they can sorta get away with minor harassment. hahaha. Plus when you've chased a little pigtailed girl around shouting "Barf! Barf! Barf!" when she's in her dog stage, you can't do much worse than that.(that was Aaron by the way)

Mi Pelicula Favorita

Since my favorite movie is based in Argentina and because I just felt like it, the title is in spanish. It really says my favorite movie. I'm thinking about doing a spanish version of the site. But I don't know yet.I've watched my favorite movie (Evita) twice in 3 days because its featured on HBO this month. I highly recommend the movie. Awesome music, its historical, and has some of the prettiest clothes and hairstyles ever in it. Oh, and Antonio Banderas *sigh*. BUT..... it has a veeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrry sad ending. Which it's a biography so, well you can't really cut that part out so..... yeah.

Playing Hooky

I AM PLAYING HOOKY TODAY!!!! YAAAAAAY!!! We're going with my dad to a sunday school conference so we are going to Indiana for the weekend and my parents are letting me play hooky for the day. I still had to get up this morning though. 5:30 AM!!!! I'm at my aunts right now and we had to get up, pack, drive here, and now we're waiting for dad to get here so we can hit the road. I love playing hooky! It's soooo much fun! I've been playing on the computer and blogging on my other 10 million sites. Unfortunatly, all of my sites put together doesn't equal my dads average visitation to his site. 50 PEOPLE YESTERDAY!!!! WOW! Unfortunately my dad is not even a frequent reader of mine.

Volleyball....
A sport i am happily getting better at and *gasp* am beginning to enjoy. I have developed a great powerserve in the past couple weeks so that is a plus. YIPEE!! I am gaining athletic ability!! The RAPTURE IS NEAR!!!!

Welp, i think my friends and I are beginning to get over this little thing (Valentines Day Despair-Destress Syndrome) It was a sad couple days for my single friends and I. And frustrating and infuriating for me. Let me explain...
An anonymous poster was whining about his valentines day lonliness. The thing that ticks me off is that this guy has dumped...3.. count them.. uno, dos, TRES!! girls this past year and he is whining. All of them are still single (trust me i know all of them) and all but one have remained this way since he dumped them. Why on earth should u be able to dump THREE GIRLS and then complain about lonliness. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....that just irks me...
On the other hand I did find a few happily single friends. Aaron, Zac, Rachel, Bri- I applaud u guys... Can I take lessons?

School Day

Well, today was pretty typical. not much went on. Aaron was back. oh i felt so bad for him. he was really pale and his voice was all raspy. awwwwwwwwwwwwww..... but anywhoooo... gym was fairly average. i kinda got out of warmups. which was nice. my shorts are way to big (well actually they're culottes but thats not the important fact here..) and i lost my safety pin somewhere. well, i told mr. moser and he said to try to make it through but if i couldn't to go change. Well, it only took about one round of sprints to realize that there was no way that was gonna work. so i played volleyball in my jeanskirt. which for some reason amazed the class. i dunno why. i have changed my topic for the research paper in english for the third time. ugggggh...no fun. I am now doing it on elizabeth blackwell, the first female MD. that is pretty intersesting so far. we'll see. but not much going on today at all.

Well, my favorite blogger has quit blogging. Darn.... that stinks... I MISS HER BLOG ALREADY!!!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!

No Smilies?

Well, there are no smilies for this holiday. This holiday does not make me want to smile. But I only have17 hours of it left so I will deal with it. My dad helped me make the day a little better. We looked at the online lunch menu for my school and neither choice was a winne so dad gave me $3, which is 1 extra. i knew my dad was wonderful. haha. so yeah that is great. what is not great is that my friend jessica was greeted at the door of school by her boyfriend holding a dozen long stemmed roses and a box of chocolates. *gag* must everything be thrown in my face?yes, i know i am better. this is one day that i really envied aaron. why couldn't i be home with strep throat rather than see the cause of the floral industry's skyrocketing profits being handed to my classmates. that's just not fun.....

*sighs* how sad. at least its better than last year. anything is. I don't think I will have a valentine this year. I feel so alone. (not really, but i would like to be desinglefied)

A rare occurance

wow... all the logged in people on my IM list are guys. strange....

pretty good day today. ok, i just lied. it wasn't so great. starting with gym. alot of you know that in 2nd grade i sliced my foot open and came close to hitting a tendon. i had 13 stitches. well, this is just now choosing to cause me problems. today we did sprints and a whole lot of funky excercises that put my weight on my feet. (this has happened for a few days) it usually hurts pretty bad but today i was about ready to cry it hurt so bad. just pray for me ok? well, spanish went ok, but algebra wasn't so good. I got a %58.67 on my algebra test that i actually studied for. that's not fun. at least i didn't get in trouble. i was kinda slow by science ( i usually am. it's 7th period) so i got reeeeeeeal behind on my notes and had to ask for the slides from my teacher. but 8th period made it a little better. MAGZ IS BACK AT MY SCHOOL!!! i'm so happy. she went to homeschool for about a month, decided she hated it, and now is back with her old schedule so she is in my S.S. class agian. i am so glad. at least my day was better than Aaron's. He left 4th period because he has strep throat. Awwww... i feel so bad for him. but anywhooo.. that's my day. i'm signing off now.

Well, its been a while since i made an "actual real live post" other than just the ramblings of IM. teehee. but i missed actually spreading my good ol' (cynical) humor with the world. so here goes a schedule of my day at school

1. Pers.Dev.- We were practicing with the Baby Think It Over Parenting Simulators today, because we get to take them home over the next few weekends. My turn, i think, is next weekend. Boy, will that be fun. My friend Rachel is taking it home this weekend. But anywhoooo, this baby does not like me at ALL!! It wailed while i held it and would not shut up. uggggggggghhh... so looking forward to this... not.
2. Gym- started volleyball. don't make me cover more details, its much too painful

yesterday i logged on at 2:00 and got off at 10:30. That was fun. First I talked to zac and rachel. and maggie. and two other rachels. and then i finished by talking to aaron. Aaron was the first actual conversation i had had all evening. (i know i am raving again) we talked about college and what we wanted to do for a living (he wants to go into design at OSU and design golf courses and houses and banks and stuff. and be in marching band like he is now) and shoes (ooh, a guy who talks about shoes. be still my heart...)and just anything that came to mind. unlike most of my friends where we just shoot insults back and forth. much more organized. lol.

last night when i went to krogers they had little keychain sharpies for $1.50. They are usually like $3. so i bought them and some normal sharpies. my bookbag is beautiful now. hahaha

My bestest friend *sniffle*

I just talked to my bestest friend since 3rd grade, Maggie. (yes, i said bestest. so sue me) She is now homeschooled so we don't get to talk much anymore. But when we do talk it is of course incessent girlie talk. Apparently she has gotten her first kiss since we last talked. to which i said WHAT?!?!?!?! I can't say who it is porque

The 2nd reason really ticked off my other best friend, Rachel. She wanted to know who it was and I said "no, maggie said i can't tell" which caused her to hang up on me and log off of instant messenger.oh well. she'll get over it.

And while i am talking of best friends i talked to Brittany McNamara this morning. She was filling me in on last nights service because i missed it (see dad's blog for details) for all of you wondering whow tiffany is doing last night she stood up at church and testified that all of the lumps are gone and she is going to the doctor for blood work today confident that will tell her that the lymphoma is gone. I BELIEVE IT!!!

I sense a cruel edge in that statement...

Yeah, CSG had an announcement on his site telling all of us on his IM list to quit sending him messages when the stats said that he wasn't at his desk. Oopsie. So once I read this, I just couldn't resist.

My favorite English teacher (not really) says that the title of an articl, essay, blah blah blah should display in a creative way the main idea of it. Mine can be interpreted two ways.

1. The sound I am making right now to express my joy
2. The reason I am making this noise (as in MESSENGER!!! WOOHOO!!)

My dearest father finally let me download my beloved Yahoo! messenger last night. On the condition that if i didn't turn off the computer i was grounded for a month. YAY!!

Now, if only CSG would answer....

A morning in the world of a girl with headphones on full-blast

7:00- leave the house, pop in AI season 2 CD turn on the shuffle
7:03- get on bus and hear best friend tell you to turn the phones down because she doesn't want to hear clay aiken (the imbecil!! lol)
7:12-arrive at school and get annoyed because your non-anti-skip player jumps everytime you take a step
7:16- keep telling your other friend "one more song and then i will turn it off"
7:16.5- you lied. another good song just came on. oh well!
7:23-bell rings allowing you to enter the gates and go to your locker
7:24- ahhhhh yes. CSG also has headphones on full blast. no words needed. a wave and smile will suffice. i knew there was a reason i liked him.
7:27- ignore the "locker buddies" in the locker next to you. they are no doubt just giving stupid insults as usual. oh look at that. my hand "slipped" and shut their locker.
7:30- arrive at 1st period. well... pre-first period.
7:32- prepare to deck friend for messing with player while clay is singing "on the wings of love"
7:33- remove phones and have a slight (ok severe) ringing in ears. i will be deaf by age 23.
