Blast from the past
One of my oldest friends,Maggie, is in my 8th period Social studies class. Today was kind of a free day in that class so we were looking through our history book and they have therse really neat pages that have examples of newspapers for important parts of American History. On these pages they have samples of what things cost in that time period, which is where i got the fact of the day at. A cd player cost $200 in 1989. So we were talking about the really old cell phones that our parents had( my dad had one of the black chunky ones that look like a normal phone and the buttons lit up.) then we were talking about the old computers. Mom and I talked about these earlier too because we were watching Doogie Howser M.D. (the world's first blogger. I l;ove that show!! :)) Remember how you had to program the background to change color?!?!?!?!? We were talking about the old games and stuff that we played on these computers. I had this game called bookworm at my grandma's house. It had this little boy and little girl and they had to jump up and get books and follow this little bookworm. I would love to play that game again!! It was so fun! Then I would play hang man that only came in green yellow and blackpictures that were made up of big block things. I played billy the kid and xena. I loved those games!!! I'll have to ask grandma where they went.

Health Class Diaries- October 18
Today we had vision screenings. 
I was waiting in line with my friend , Rachel, and she was telling me how incredibly dumb I was for liking CSG.( We're in the same health class) CSG is on Morning announcements this week, doing words of wisdom, so he's been showing up late for health class (excused of course), so he got lost, forgetting that we were in th guidence office doing the screenings. He had to have been on something, he was acting so wierd (no, not really, he's always being stupid, I think it was just a sugar buzz. Calm down!)Our school is really neat, we have metal wallsand you can stick magnets and stuff to it. Well there was one of those tac-boards, you know the kind that your kindergarten teacher used to hang your pretty pictures on, and he thought it was attached, so he pulled on it and fell backward.
The pricipals office was right next to where he fell and she thought somone got hurt and much to her surprise she saw CSG laughing his head off. Miss Kennon had to tell her that it was just CSG being a dumb-butt and then to tell the class to shut up.

Health Class Diaries
In health class we're studying nutrition and portions and things like that. We're watching Supersize Me, an over the top Documentary about a guy who would like to know what happens when he eats nothing but good ole Mickey D's for a whole month. It's sooo nasty. In the first 12 days of his "diet" he gains 27 pounds. His cholesteral is through the roof and he suffers from fatty liver. Fun. Plus he gets bored with the menu ( the worst side effect of all. I love McChicken sandwiches!) We also learned what is in McNuggets (u don't wanna know) We also met this guy who eats 2 Big Macs a day. yuck. And yet he isn't the slightest bit overweight. I wish I had that metabolism. LOL.

WHat a weekend!
I have had such a fun weekend!! When Dawn picked me up on Saturday we went to Cubby's (Cubby is my brothers best friend. His real name is Canaan.) Soccer game. As he says " The other team won but we scored more goals" ( he's 5) Then we went to Lowes. I have my house all planned out, after looking at lowes bathrooms and kitchens. I love Lowes!! after that we went to Dawn's house. She noticed I had a hole in my shirt and she was going to let me borrow a shirt. It was like an episode of what not to wear! I haven't tried on so many clothes in my whole life! 
I finally found an awesome outfit with a jean jacket, blue shirt and khaki corduroy skirt. Since there was still an 1 1/2 hours until bowling, Dawn but hot rollers in my hair and made a cute ponytail.
Then she found some cover-up that she forgot that a little goes a long way and applied it like Indian war paint. It was hilarious. Then i went bowlin, which I am awful at. Bro. Ben (our youth leader) beat me 174-31. 
So at about 10pm I got home. Dawn felll right asleep after about 5 minutesof Petticoat Junction. ( she had worked the night shift the night before and hadn't slept at all)I stayed up and whenever I would be drifting off, Beamer( my uncle Ken's dog who is staying with Dawn) would jump on me and wake me up. Today Dawn woke me up at 9:55 AM (church starts at 10AM) and we got out the door at 10:30. We went to Quizno's for lunch with Dawn's mom and niece ( Angelica is almost 1 and sooo cute!!) then we set up for Dorenda's baby shower. ( she had her baby on Sept.19)
I came home with grandma tonight and didn't get to stay for the shower because grandma didn't feel good. Well, that was my weekend. Now I have to sleep so i can go to *gag* school tomorrow.
